Im thinking of going...crest front and arch rear. Would everyone agree that the front is less likely to buckle?
It depends how/where you ride and what you hit... I use crest 29's front and rear and love them.
I think ill buckle a crest at the rear.
Depends on your "everything" really. The weight penalty to go to an Arch isn't massive, not much for peace of mind... But then I wouldn't use a Crest on the front for a do-anything bike, it wouldn't last.
Yep rear tends to take more abuse- more likely to go places you didn't mean it to, hang up on landings etc.
Light Bicycle carbon rims? Go for the wider ones.
