Any experts in?
Bike has lights already wired up (from manufacturer) to the Bosch system so it all runs off the main battery/control panel.
What I would like to do, is add a second front and rear light. Or replace with better (as they are good but would like better ideally)
can an I just extend the current wiring to add second lights front and rear?
Or, if I was to replace them with better lights, where am I looking for the lights, what should I be looking for ? Everywhere I look seems to be either battery powered or fixed rechargeable type.
I doubt you can as under german / eu type approval (iirc) 3 w is the max front allowed and there is also a limit for the rear. I doubt anyone but the european manufacturers make lights for e bikes and thus will not make them that are brighter.
Edit - there may be better lights from B&M that will work with an e bike
