Good day all.
I wondered what folks were using to attach lights to 35mm bars nowadays?
In times of old, Lumi QR brackets in 25.4mm and 31.8mm worked great, but don't think the same are available for siting the lamp unit close to the stem...but could be completely wrong of course!
Thanks in advance.
PS - Was thinking of a gopro mount for 35mm diameter bars and a gopro adapter for the lamp unit.
i just run mine closer to the grips, on the thin part of the bar. less far to move your hand to adjust them when you forgot to turn them on properly pre-descent..
Hope bracket fits 35mm and is made in such a way it could be adapted to other lights easily.
My Maxx D came with a bracket and accompanying rubber strip to cover 35mm and 31.8mm
As above, I use Hope and they fit 35mm right by the stem no worries.
You can add links to Lumi QR brackets. I use a lumicycle bracket with 2 extension links on a 35mm bar. They don't seem to be sell just the links on their website any more but might be worth dropping them an email.
EDIT: yes they do:

I have Light & Motion and Chinese lights - both use a type of rubber band fixing, both stretch enough to fit 35mm bars. Chinese ones are damn tight, but it means they don’t move.
I just bought one of these.

Lumi ones fit 35mm. Perhaps not snug against the stem (can't remember)
A 34.9mm reflector mount and some ingenuity.
Is this the hope bracket that will fit 35mm bars?

Doesn't fit very well!
I bodged an exposure cleat to my light body and used their 35mm mounting bracket. It works nicely. The cleat comes with an M6 csk bolt but an M5 csk bolt works too.
The Hope mount doesn’t work with 35mm bars unless you replace the QR lever and shaft with cable ties, this works fine and I can slide and twist it off without always replacing the cable ties, and it’s never slipped round.

But a Reflector brackets better.
