Any recommendations for for some summer riding gloves. Need to be long fingered and light and breathable.
I have normal riding gloves but they tend to get hot and clammy when out do long rides but are fine for trial riding.
661 Raji or Troy Lee XC.
They seem to change them every year or two but my last pair or Raji had a mesh back which was pretty much as good as not being there. the new one looks more like cycle jersey material in the photos.
The Troy Lee's are a bit thicker but still not hot.
Galibier Contact gloves also worth a look, light and comfy for me but I've heard the backs can damage easily if you go anywhere near a bramble
Whatever pair of Foxes are on offer at the moment. Think my latest were Attack, might’ve been Digit. Regardless, just good, light, gloves
The Endura Danny MacAskill gloves are very thin and breathable. So thin you still get nettle stings through them
Thanks for the replies , i'll check a few of the suggestion out.
+1 on thin foxes
Troy Lee Ace are the airiest I’ve used.
I hate wearing gloves, so as soon as it’s warm enough, I’m gloveless - these I use where there are weird rules about having to wear for racing.
They are very minimalist.
Troy Lee XC
These
I have a pair of Royal Racing which are really lightweight and comfortable.
I have the fox flexairs which are the thin ones I think other users refer to, find them quite sweaty at the moment. Might check out the Troy Lees or put my ODI grips on and go gloveless to avoid sweaty/wrinkled hands!
Troy Lee sprint are even air’er than airs.
I like the Troy Lee Ace as well.
Wonder where my pair's gone actually, could have done with them yesterday!
pretty much everything on the market right now is lightweight and slimline you shouldn't have any trouble finding something.

Mine have had a fair bit of use and are holding up well. Very minimalist, no palm padding at all.
I’ve tried similar from Madison and Alpkit but they start to fall apart after a couple of rides.
Sweet Protection Hunter. I never think about them even in the heat, so I guess they meet the requirements.
If you can find them, I really like Race Face Ambush. Lightest gloves I've found. Had a couple of pairs now.

Dakine Insight.
End of thread.
Fox ranger gloves 👌
Dakine +1
As if you don't have enough choice already.... I like these https://www.stifmtb.com/collections/ridewear/products/ion-dude-gloves-black
I’ve posted this image before, but Dakine Concepts are seriously lightweight. That is daylight shining through them! Not sure if they still do them though.
