Can anyone recommend a decent light that mounts comfortably onto aero bars? I’m running an Exposure Strada at the moment and my plan was to attach it under a K-Edge mount using their GoPro adapter.

Unfortunately K-Edge have changed their mind about the robustness of their mounts following a few failures so I’m back to square one.

It’s a Canyon, but they don’t have a suitable mount either.

Raceaware looks cheap.

Exposure make a stem faceplate mount If you don't already have a Garmin outfront mounted there like I did.

I have a propel and the same quandary so went with a go Pro mount under the giant Garmin outfront and then a go pro to exposure joystick mount.

What are you looking for Flaperon?

I have spent the weekend designing my own to fit a need. The below is the first draft, the 2nd is on the printer now! I designed it so I could put a few items to tri bars, one of which is my USE mk10 race.

tribar brace

If thats the sort of thing your looking for, maybe we can help each other out.

If it’s the H11 or H36 then the Raceware solution works really well. I have the Wahoo Raceware and GoPro mount, works really well for me. Doesn’t feel cheap, it’s 3D printed, but feels solid and robust.
Freaking fiddly to install though but that’s Canyon’s DI2 cabling in the H11 cabling that gets in the way.

I have a raceware mount for my Propel aero drop bars. It snapped the first time I tightened it! Orientation on the bars is critical. Raceware sent a replacement. It’s been fine but the garmin 810 is a bit of a lump. Have a 520 that is a better match

The bars are the new CP10, so the mount has parallel fixing holes. No access to stem to attach to those bolts.

If it was a small light I'd just mount it under the K-Edge anyway, but the Strada us fairly beefy. I can see why the mount fails, because the Wahoo insert and the GoPro attachment share the same screw holes but from opposite sides. Probably only about 3 threads are engaged and they're small screws to begin with.

I'll order the aero mount for my Diablo for the time being and see how I get on. With spring approaching the Strada isn't going to be needed that much anyway.

Thanks for the suggestions.
