Budget? Boost specific?

Not much to go on but I'll say it- Novatec d791/2 SB. Not the lightest but seem bang for buck.

Disclaimer: In the end I got pro 4 (which are heavier) for emotional reasons on my latest carbon rim build. I do have have Novatec on other bikes and Kore branded Novatec before the pro 4.

I've got some of the above I'll go and weigh shortly. Bought to build some cheap and lightish but tough road/gravel wheels that never happened.
Stealth ad - they're for sale as well.

Be lucky to get a pair of 240s under £200. Set of new Acros hubs on eBay they are light a pair hubs approx 50g heavier than just a hope rear hub! but not cheap. Use ratchet system like DT Swiss I do like mine

XT Boost hubs are around 500g the pair. No idea how that compares to other brands.

What are they for? Mtb, gravel, cx, road?

Some are OK for road and gravel but not mtb.

What's your budget? Your idea of silly money and mine might be 2 different things.

I've been running American classic hubs, they are light, strong and reasonably priced. Not sure what the future holds for spares now the company dissolved. I suspect someone will/has bought then and will continue to produce..

They would be for my rigid bike so safe to say I need MTB. Also need 135 rear and 15mm front.

Hope are my benchmark in terms of cost and weight, but I know there's lighter around. The nice thing about Hope Pro4 would be the ability to boostinate them later if required.

Stealth ad – they’re for sale as well.

Damn you. This always happens.. I post a window shopping thread and someone puts pressure on me with a sale offer......

I've paid between £80 and £140 for a pair (built into wheels, they're cheaper- a battered set of EX1750s will often not name the hub, ideal)

Dammit! I thought the ex1750s were 350s! Google proves me misinformed. Are they all white though? *Vomits*

Fwiw, the d791/792SB with a Shimano driver and QR end caps weigh in at 167g and 281g respectively.
My CL Hope RS4s with a Shimano driver weigh in at 279g and 160g(that's with a lock ring on the front, not fitted to the rear, doh!)

The Novatecs - cenerlock or 6 bolt?

If it's CL then it's not worth not getting Hope.

Me too, they're lovely. There was loads on ebay last I looked. I rebuilt my MTB wheels onto the Am Class hubs (from XT) and the bike is sooo mmuch nicer 🙂
What about Halo? Supadrives seem good. I've got Halo wheels on my hardtail and they're nice quality. Good support too.

DCR Wheel's own brand hubs, about 300g a pair

Oh yeah, I have a set of those Novatecs- or the rear, at least, I've never actually built a wheel with the front. Good weight, and so far they just work, they don't feel as nice as a Hope or DT but I'm not sure it matters

Some are black but I think most are white (2 of my sets are)
Another set on 26er 819s sold for £110 this morning.

+1 for the American Classics. Significantly quieter than Hopes too, if that's your preference.

Not sure what the future holds for spares now the company dissolved. I suspect someone will/has bought then and will continue to produce..

I'm sure there were AC bikes competing at Nove Mesto last weekend but maybe they were privateers riding older bikes?

Hmm.. I'm probably better off waiting for Shimano microspline hubs as I am interested in 12sp.
