Light Bicycle still the way to go? I can't see past their prices, weights and depths, for the basic lineup. Where else should I look? I think I want 19mm internal width - I think that's what mine are and they work ok with Pro One 28c. I probably want 35-45mm depth. I have disc brakes.

I was planning on buying rims then getting some hubs from the normal channels and having my LBS build. I'm not averse to full wheelsets but at least from LB it doesn't look like good value.

Obv UK preferred.

Farsports were good for me - at the time they came out a bit cheaper than the same spec from LB.

Try Sigma Sport for Knight Composites. Depending on whether you want rim or disc, tubeless or otherwise, they have quite a few rims in clearance at better than half price. If you aren't familiar, Knight were set up by Enve alumni.

I have had a few sets of Knight and they are fab. At these prices, with a lifetime warranty delivered by a UK shop, you can't go wrong.

Farsports for me too.

Check out their website and Aliexpress - I was about to order from their website and then realised were about £80 cheaper on Aliexpress.

Order was delayed, so got them to provide DHL delivery for free, which was good of them. Arrived from China in 4 days with only £26 customs fee.

FYI - I got the Feder 45s.

I actually went much wider than 19mm internal for 28c. I’m currently running 28c tyres on the Light Bicycle WR35 rim and it’s a measured 31.5mm.

It's not UK based either right? Or am I missing?

My Contis were 30.5 and they only just fit in my mudguards, so I need to be careful there.

Had some fantastic wheels from CSC on ebay, run them tubeless over a couple of years including racing, fred whitton, I rate them better than the ZIPP 404 that I had before that, they really are brilliant and think I paid £400 including upgraded spokes and hubs

I have new never opened BTLOS ("beyond the limits of self") that I bought summer 2019 but never got round to building up (I bought a new Reacto that already had deep-ish wheels on)

40mm, asym, "road/gravel" (strong rather than super light), 19mm inner (26 ext, 17 in lip), no decals

If you are interested in a deal let me know 😀 </cheeky post>

Aye, yes. If you have that consideration as well there’s the AR36. Mine fit under the guards on my Mason Definition, but it would be a bit snug with anything bigger.

Fastop for imported wheels. A friend is importing rims and building them. Seem good, lots being used and minimal issues.

UK wise, I don't know how wide the latest offerings are from Prime/Wiggle they used to be narrow. Hunt is an option. Justridingalong also worth a shout.

They look cheap but pretty porky, 1700g ish?

Is he doing it as a business or just for himself?

I got some JRA 40mm deep wheels, very happy with them. Good weight and went up tubeless easily.
