Just got a new carbon hardtail and fancy upgrading the 30.9 seatpost that came with it.
Don't want anything silly light, but something reliably good for XC racing.
Thinking about KCNC Pro Lite Scandium but they seem to be discontinued on the KCNC site.
Thanks
Have you looked at the SDG I-beams?
Snaptastic!
Check out New Ultimate. I've got a new unused layback one, think it may be a 31.6 though, happy to check if it may be of interest 😕
KCNC Prolite is on their website:

I've got one - I think from Koo Bikes on eBay. Either there or stevescycles (or similar) also on ebay.
It's a great post, apart from the fact that the anodising isn't holding up very well. I do take my post out of the frame a lot though (to get the bike in the car), so I tend to wreck the finish on seatposts anyway...
Here you go:
Cheers for the replies.
Googled SDG I-Beam. I have a new Specialized saddle so that won't work.
Njee20 - if it is a 30.9 I might be interested
Looking like the Prolite could be the one. But not on new website.
I'll double check when I get home!
I have a race face seatpost on my other bike and have always liked their bombproof clamp.
Chain reaction have a sale on Race Face seatposts and I got a Next SL carbon for £45. Not silly light but good enough.
