Right, so I have an old Light and Motion Stella light with Li-ion battery (11.1v - 3S?) like this:

The charger is Light and Motion's multi-chemistry charger shown below. Output is stated as 7.2 - 15V.

I presume that this charger is more advanced and higher quality/less likely to catch fire than the one supplied with Magicshine etc. lights.

So the question is - if I splice a suitable connector into the output cable, could I use this charger to charge Magicshine etc. batteries which I believe are 7.4V (2P2S?)

?

Hi, did you manage to splice a connector onto the light and motion charger?

I took the charger apart and there are 4 wires, 2 look like a positive and negative (red and black) and the other 2 seem to distinguish between NiMh (Orange?) and Li-On (white)

If you got it to work which wires did you connect to, I have a fluxient battery which has the same connection as magic shine batteries.

Thanks
