Katie's Lezyne still seems to be showing GMT - the time is an hour behind my Garmin. I've never changed the time on a GPS before - they know where you are and pick it up from the satellites. Can't find a setting.
Any ideas?
It should update automagically when it connects to satellites.
There may be an option to set it via the mobile app though...
Needs GPS connected so I can't confirm if the app will set the time or not.
There's an option for "daylight saving".
Option for Daylight Saving where....
i got a leztne micro recently, time wasnt right even after connecting to satellite.
Hold down menu, until you get to time and select time zone, mine was 7 hours out set to hong Kong,!
As an aside, realy impresed with the micro, and £60 from Giant concept store at Barbican was a steal !
Options are probably on the app or within Settings on the GPS itself...
On GPS, go to Menu and long hold to get the options, then scroll down to Time and set the Daylight Savings option.
On the main menu, scroll down to "Time". Then it's the 3rd option.
Or connect your phone with Bluetooth and use the app.
Hi simons_nicolai-uk,
It looks like your question has already been answered, but if you have questions in the future and want to talk directly with our customer service team, you can always submit a request here!: https://support.lezyne.com/hc/en-us
Also, please be sure that both Katie's app and GPS are up to date. There is an option to either set a specific timezone (with or without Daylight savings) or to have the clock automatically set based on the cellphone connection. The time setting can be changed either in the menu on the GPS itself or via the Ally V2 smartphone app
The latest firmware version (6.75) can be found here: http://www.lezyne.com/support-gps.php
Cheers!
We are being watched!!!!! lol
Nice bit of CS, joking aside.
Thanks all. Still puzzled why this needs to be set manually or to rely on phone connection. Garmin manage fine.
Is it a struggle or just different? Not found it to be an issue myself with mine...
As it takes seconds to fix and only has to be done once, it's hardly an issue !
