Like using a small saddle bag when riding without pack usually on sub 3 hour rides. Inner tube, mini tool, patches, lever are in there.

Have been using a Lezyne M-Caddy that attaches to seatpost and saddle rails using velcro. On each of 10 mtb rides it's come undone, usually when rattling along on rocks or roots. The seatpost is done up nice and tight. But it seems there's not enough hook material in the right place on the rail straps, so it's only attached using 50% of the velcro at best.

It seems fine for road riding where things are nice and smooth, but take it offroad and it's coming off every time.

What else will do the job without me having to stop and reattach it?

I had a similar problem with my fizik bag. Ended up using one of these

I had the same problem, load of rubbish. I cut the straps off and just use an old toe strap to hold it.

Have been using an Ortlieb MudRacer for years and it has never let me down!

Look for something that clamps to the saddle- my Topeak and Ortlieb ones don't go anywhere.
