Heading to Les Gets this Friday, could do with a guide and some routes usual sort of riding lift assisted XC type stuff.

Anyone a guide or have any contact details for a guide they could share? likewise any routes would be much appreciated as we are only out for 5 days so need to make the most of the time.

Thanks.

@Pezzers lots of threads on here. Info below can be found on those threads - do a search

For guiding in 2010 we used Lionell from MCF the French school, super nice guy, good with a few tips etc. euro 250 a day so only used him once split 6 between group of 6

Routes, worth organizing a taxi back from ride to Samoens. Col du Cou is a favourite on here, assuming the linking lift over to Champery/Crossets is still running (which they may not be).

Ride the Mont Chery xc tour with a lunch stop in small restaurant in Mont Caly.

My mates said the black XC in LG was mostly dull pedalling aside from epic last dh section.

You are a bit late for the good lift assisted XC stuff as a lot of lifts will be closed. I quite like the black XC off the back of Les Gets. It's not miles of techy singletrack but it's varied terrain with some interesting bits. I think the rally might be in town, too, which closes some of the access roads, even to bikes, so check before planning an epic. We got stuck and had a BIG push up. There's easily a couple of days in Les Gets using the lifts and doing the marked runs. The long green is actually good fun.
