Only done leogang for one day as part of a week in saalbach. We had a great holiday, but objectively speaking the area was shit for the type of xc downhill mainly but not brakes full on 6 inch travel stormtrooper type riding that we wanted.

TBF though, one of us was on a Hardtails and one of a rigid 20" wheeler, so we weren't exactly target market.

For reference, we've also done Finale, Fichtelgeberge, Tignes, Les Arcs and that italian place over the hill from la Rosiere.

Would probs stay in Saalbach as oppose Leogang......

I would also heartily recommend a trip up the Kitzsteinhorn and a ride down that too (30mins away in Kaprun)

Some tough enduro type tracks in Leogang.....some boring (if skills are like mine) jumpy & DH bits too......Saalbach 'Big 5' which includes some of the tracks in Leogang, is a must too.

Saalbach Hackelburg & Bergstadl Trails are always the highlights for me 🙂

The Hackleburg (sp?) is much more enduro single track than dh and part of the big 5. We found lots of fun, but most of the more enduro stuff is on the Saalbach side. There is a nice link between the 2 resorts as well. And go for a burger at the Hexenhausel - it comes with a frankfurter garnish! We also found that most of the ‘features’ are quite progressive and well designed- I was enjoying wall rides by the end of the week. They have also replaced the shitty circus lift. We went 2 years ago and are going back this year!
