No Leogang thread yet?
No talk about Matt Walker taking his first win? Thibaut Daprela on a heater then wiping out? Minnaars crazy warp speed wall ride? The insane gap for Camille in the Elite womens race?

Good times.

Bloody brilliant race, tense right til the end, so happy for Matt after the way he struggled to find the pace last year.

Jordan took the Juniors as well and has taken the series lead over the bigbucks wunderkid Goldstone.

'Ur byke iz Saracin' indeed.

My Fort William thread was instantly closed so I didn't bother this time.

Yes it was a mint race. Not very often we see Minnaar make a mistake in a race run.

Daprela is an animal on a bike. He's one of those riders who needs to learn to slow down to go faster and keep it upright.

Brit wins in Jnr Mens, Jnr Womens and Elite Mens (well, a one two in that)!

Yeah what a race, womens was carnage, winning run was the only clean one I think! Nice to see Jordan sticking it to goldstone in the juniors. In the mens Greenland was proper gutted with his random mistake trying to manual some rollers, he was flying as well. Thibaut is so exciting to watch but as sharkattack said, he needs to slow down to get some consistency. Class to see Danny and Matt up there, Danny seems to be loving the set up on cube, making it work for him, less pressure maybe.

George is working on the post-race analysis story, but was away racing in Bala this weekend so is a bit more delayed than usual.

Brilliant race, stuck to my screen

Daprela is so good to watch, reminds me of a young Pastrana. Full on go hard or go home.

Let's not let the glory of Walker's win play down that entry he made into the woods! 😀 so good!

Still trying to get my head around the speed the riders were railing that rut in such ugly conditions. Really shows just how much they are above your average weekend warrior.

Cabirou's slam was utterly brutal. 🙁 To see her get up was one thing, to see her get on the bike another, and to then find out the extent of her injuries... These racers are truly on another level. Recovery vibes going her way.

Wasn't it just!? The fact that Walker, who is not generally considered a 'death or glory' technical specialist the way Hart and Daprela are was the fastest through the horrendous woods section underlies just how on it he was.

Now he's broken his duck, hopefully we'll be plenty seeing more runs like this from him.

Great race. Loved it, so close. Healing vibes to Marine, her crash looked horrible, how she even got back on the bike and tried to carry on  with those injuries is mad

Just caught the last 8 or 9 Men down on the Red Bull Replay last night after I watched the F1.

Daprela - yep, needs to rein it in a bit! You might get the odd result going at 105%, but you might not, and you certainly wont get consistent results. You'd think he might have chilled a bit after biting his tongue off last year... Mad to watch though!

Well happy for Matt Walker - superb run, he got kicked the furthest out on that RH woods entry yet came out of it faster, what a save! And just fast, aggressive and on it all the way down. Brilliant.

Danny Hart back on form too. Really hope Greenland gets a win this year.

Daprela is in a phase we've seen loads of riders go through in the past. Ratboy, Hart, Bruni, Vergier etc. All shown how fast they can be when they're pushing hard but they spent a lot of time upside down with their bike flying through the scenery.

I think Illes is making the transition now to someone who can chill out and put down a race run and actually score some points.

Pierron is unusual in that he went straight from outsider to multiple race winner. You can see he's on the absolute limit but he's much less likely to throw it away.

I bloody love downhill! I hope it's easy to watch next year.

Was a good race.

Think the only clean run amongst the top girls was the winning run. Fair play to anyone getting down that in one piece.

Mens race was brilliant. Liked what I assumed was Walker's parent's reaction when he won.

Nothing against her, but I'm glad that the prediction that Vali was going to show up and wipe the floor with everyone turned out false. Womens field is more exciting than ever.

Mixed results for local riders,
Marine Cabirou crashed and broke 3 vertebrees,
Dylan Levesque finished 12th again.

I remember when Matt Walker was one of the many little fast kids on Pearce uplifts, he won on dry tyres, in those woods, wow. Brilliant.

Really good race.

Daprela is great to watch but Pierron is a bit of a unit and has that all out aggressive riding style nailed down tighter for now. It goes without saying the French lads are something else at moment and look like they could completely dominate the series in the coming years.

Tidy win for Matt Walker.

I'd like to see footage of whatever Laurie Greenland managed to do on the rollers instead of just riding over them.

If it was the motorway section after the little river gap there are 3 humps, I think he mannied them and flipped

I’ve lost track of the rules for wearing GoPros - might have to wait for the syndicate video to see Laurie-vision.

Or it might be lost to history.

Laurie shared a phone clip on Insta. It's not the best but simply looks like loops out on a fast manual.

His attitude seems so positive and he's riding well so hopefully he's got a big result coming soon.

I'm surprised noones mentioned Louisa Anne Ferguson. Missed practice, straight into qualis and a podium! And nailing the big gap which looked horrible with the approach and mud splatter all over the kicker

Gutted for Greenland as he's riding so fast and that was a golden opportunity with the frenchies not dominating for once. His loopout reminded me a bit of ratboy overcooking the bridge jump in hafjell as he was carrying so much speed in his race run it took him by surprise

Yeah that was probably the most impressive result of the weekend, had a nightmare getting there, hardly any practice and then made it on to the podium. Didn’t even have enough points to race so had a gbr jersey to allow her to ride. She’s a hell of a rider, was at red bull formation sending it last month as well. Absolute no brainer for wyns privateer of the week award.
