does anybody have any experience of this club? they seem to have a good history (centenary this weekend of the road side of the club at least).
I want to find a few more local mountainbikers and this seems like the kind of place to do it.

They meet on a Tuesday night for offroad and Thursday night for road.

Tuesday's ride often does a mix of local wood trails some road bits ( have to join up the paths)
I'm in Melton. Fairly horse battered too but we do have hills and can piece together some decent stuff if it's not rained!
At least you live near the M1 which is handy to get elsewhere....

Sorry should have mentioned the rides are to do with the Leicester off road club.
Person who is organises them is a bloke called Dave - who has a lot to do with the club.
Personally I just go for the riding 🙂

will do, i ride in the peaks a lot as well (it's where i grew up) and am keen to do a few more group rides in the area, most of my mtb mates are either to 'core for xc or live down south.
