After 13 years of service I think my front wheel is due a rebuild.
My usual mechanic can't do it as he can't mount it in the jig due to the hub.
Merlin can't do them as a rebuild and superstar wanted quite big money for a new wheel.
I'm assuming the issue is that the hub hanging from one side doesn't help when centralising the rim in the hub or even getting the hub on a jig?
26" rim, not that I think this should affect things.
Anyone who CBA can build it in the fork.
Why do you think it needs rebuilt?
Is anything wrong?

The tool to convert to a normal qr for truing stands is about £15 and not particularly hard to find. I'd put a link but I'm on my phone and lazy!
You should be able to find it by searching for lefty truing adapter or similar.
Edit: What they said ^^^
That's great, so that tool makes it a standard qr fitting for truing?
Might be just the ticket.
I just feel it needs doing, feels a bit twangy, if that makes sense and I'm reluctant to try and tension the spokes myself for fear of making a fudge of it.
Aren't lefty wheels going really cheap on CRC atmo
Not in obsolete 26" it appears.
Whereabouts are you? I can do a Lefty wheel build if you're in the Midlands.
and if you're near Brighton you're welcome to borrow an adapter from me.
Calderdale, thanks for the offers though.

If the option is a rebuild then you don't have much to lose....?
If you fudge it then revert back to Plan A
