As title, due to my bike being of american origin, they didn't account for wet weather, and the frame protectors seem to be glued on using water soluble glue.

Being a bit paranoid about making my expensive carbon frame brittle I thought I would ask strangers on the internet what glue they would recommend to re-fix, it.

I could just go with a wrap of inner tube (its on a funny shaped area, so cant use a neoprene chain stay protector) but obviously I've become a princess about my bike, and that would look ugly!

3M VHB double sided tape? Same as they use for Quadlock adhesive mounts, and they do not come off easily!
