just about to switch over too. Eurosport getting tedious.

(PS not to mention Eurosport player is so backwards it uses Silverlight (so I have to watch on tablet), which is not supported by Chrome and is end of life according to Microsoft its developer, too. How ******** hard can it be to have moved to an html5 player sometime in the last 2yrs eh, Eurosport?)

Bit of bike swaping going on, I could of done with a swap on the commute this morning as last nights hastily applied mud guad started to rub!

Speaking of Eurosport player, what a crock of sh*t the latest "upgrade" has been. Seem to spend a lot of time looking at those jiggling balls 🙁

It also seems to have made a total hash of updating my password, having hung halfway through. It neither accepts the old or new one. And the "reset password" feature seems totally broken. Just sh!t.

I did notice something about making the option to run a "simpler" player available soon, presumably because of all the complaints about the new one.

Why new versions of web sites have to rely on dodgy plug in's these days is beyond me.

Still seems to work fine on the iPad thankfully.

Anyway, very little of the predicted chaos on today's stage so far.

cav takes interm sprint with griepel and sagan in the mix.

The sprinters put a gap on the peloton, Sagan suggests to the sprinters "shall we work together and pull a break away then?". Comedian. Mind you, he even made greipel smile 🙂

BTW - what was that website that had live GPS feeds of rider road positions and Wattage data? Is it still available? Was it team specific?

Dimension Data are the analytics people though it doesn't seem to be all live, there is a twitter feed that has some postings (back a couple of pages with the speed at crash graph)

Spreading my bets today....
Can't decide if Froome or Martin will wear yellow but I reckon TJ will be ahead of Froome.

Just watching these first few days and the way Sky are as a team compared to the brutal squad that put Wiggins on top I think they will be happy to shed yellow early, they just seem to be getting pushed out the side and around a bit more than the other teams.

and speaking further of Eurosport, I signed up for their customer feedback for the "2.0" and have kept banging on about them not supporting Chromecast. It's bad enough relying on Silverlight but why have a mobile app that doesn't easily cast (when every other streaming service I've got does).

CTM - agree, no chromecast, and silverlight reliance basically makes it a git for me. But I have a 1m subscription as a backup as I am off to France in a few weeks and want to be able to catch up if the ITV4 player blocks french IP addresses.

A few years ago SRM had a live feed of a few (don't know if it was all) of their riders - wattage, speed, cadence I think. That was pretty interesting. No longer available though

Bugger me, there are a lot of adverts on ITV aren't there? I'm trying to have a sneaky look whilst working and every time I click on it's another advert.

Eurosport has a lot about now too. They usually cover the last 30 mins or so without any adverts so they get them all out the way early.

Boom took Nibali off the front, Froome and Martin mainly closed the gap. Front group getting smaller.

Sky now on front

edit: Cav now on front riding for Martin

I love the cobbled stages in the tdf , Froome , Nairo , Nibali and co riding bravely . Last years cobbled stage 5 was also a highlight.

Can't see Quintana in the lead group (some feeds say he's still in there.)

Froome glued to Thomas's wheel.

Kristoff has some sort of mechanical.

Yes, massive wobble by Froome at 50kph playing with one of the Katusha riders.

Nibbles pushing on. Froome trying to stay on Gee's wheel.

Agreed - yellow jersey on the front. Oh!

Not sure why they've allowed it, ONCE always used to change to pink, unless they missed the heli shot issue, as it's not a problem from ground level.

Did anyone else spot the inboard brakes on that guy in green that got gobbled up by a load of riders on the cobbles? Quite surprised to see them on a bike in the TDF.
