Working in Swindon for the next 6 months and won't be able to do my own maintenance, I know Hargroves are around here somewhere, but have no idea of their rep.

Anyone got a recommendation for a nice friendly bike shop?

Hargroves is the one to try first definitely.
There are a few others but I've not had a reason to try them yet.

I rate the mechanic in Mitchells Cycles, used him for a lot of stuff, good value but most important dead honest!

If you in Swindon, I say Hargroves.

Also for riding etc might be worth contacting MBswindon
http://www.mbswindon.co.uk/
and if you get really stuck I be able to help.... 😉

Cheers guys.

Intend to meet the mbswindon for their social on Friday evening; had a go on the "behind the nationwide" trail on the way back from Cwmcarn today.

Hi Rob, I'm part of MB Swindon,it's a really really friendly club and very welcoming to all styles of riding and ability. Hargroves is a good choice and recommended.

Glad you have been to the croft trail, not too bad is it 🙂

If you're sticking around the area for a while get involved with the regular club rides in the local area well worth it. Also swindon is close to Bradbury clump which is worth a ride if you can't go too far.

Hi crush, maybe bump into you...

Glad you have been to the croft trail, not too bad is it

You know what? It's not bad at all. It's got very obvious limitations but there's enough twistiness and rocky bits to make it a challenge.

Rob likes 🙂
