I just discovered sidewall cracking on my trusty old WTB Crosswolfs.  They have been abused and seen much use on tarmac at speed and pressure as well as their intended use so I’m not upset the casing appears to be giving out before the tread.

They don’t appear to be available in the UK unless you count Amazon imports or my google-fu is weak this afternoon.  What’s similar and available?  700c, 32-37, tubeless friendly, lightish and good balance of mud and harder surfaces?  I’m not looking for a CX Race tyre.

WTB Riddlers come in 37c - I've been riding with some 45mm Riddlers all summer on my SSCX - haven't noticed them being a drag on the road and they've held up fine in some looser conditions. Set up tubeless with a track pump too.

Wiggle have Crosswolfs? Or Crosswolves. If you ride mostly road and hardpack, G-Ones are brilliant btw, but not cheap.

Ooh!  Hadn't realised Wiggle had them.

I generally don't look there for anything as I always used to hate their site although having just taken a look they seem to have had a webdev in at sometime in the last couple of years!  Interesting that Google will show me stock in America on Amazon but not at Wiggle though! 😀

Bolt,  I may take you up on that, I'll PM in a bit.

Anyone else got feedback on the Riddlers?  I'd considered them previously.

G-Ones not so much, I have a set of GP Four Seasons on my other wheelset which cover this base already.  I'm so in wuv with Black Chili that I can't see me moving away from Conti for non-toothy tyres.  TBH, if I hadn't had the Contis on the bike so much, the CrossWolves would probably have been scrubbed down long before the casings started to go on me.
