No idea why this should bother me, but it did a bit. I think it was that excitement I felt as a kid when I saw the ski jump take off plus my Dad used to build them at Dunsfold and I remember walking around the factory on their open day and seeign the flight display.
Anyway, we're relying on the French military for the next 10 years which is enough to give anyone pause for thought...
