Hmmm interesting. Cancelled my full build as they don’t have any clear build dates as was due mid June.

Never bought a frame and built up so not sure how much it would all cost.

Wondering how much I could shift across from my old trek fuel.

Ooh that looks nice.

I so wish I hadn't looked at this post.

Love my Sonder Signal ST, could be tempted by the Ti version next year

Would have to ride one first to see if the extra cost is worth the 1kg in reduced weight and what the Ti one feels like to ride compared to the steel version

Was wondering how the steel one rode and whether its worth £800 odd more for the Ti.

That a medium?

Personally i cant see the Ti being £800 better but if i decide to upgrade later to the Ti version (frame only) then id want to spend a day on one before commiting

Mine is a large, im 5ft 10in tall and the large is spot on for me

I think it's hard to tell the difference in ride feel even with a demo day. When I tried the ti I struggled to feel the difference in the frame from my steel genesis tarn, I suspect because the demo bike had 2.6 tyres on, which would obviously provide extra damping and reduce trail buzz. I got one all the same, mainly for the weight reduction as the tarn was a heavy beast. And I'm glad I did as it's a brilliant frame. I've not tried the steel one, but you could buy some really nice light wheels and kit for the £800 difference.

I've got a Scandal (cheap frame off Planet X eBay shop) which is very similar geo and weight to the ti frame. I would love the Signal, but can't see I would notice much difference?

The pricing over on Alpkit is curious.

EG. Signal ST frame: £449. Signal ST Deore build: £1,499
Signal Ti frame: £1,249. Signal Ti Deore build: £1,999.

My maths aint great, but that looks like a £300 difference to me.
