Hi all while searching round ebay the other night decided to search for a freeride bike and came across a lapierre froggy 518 at a very good price and as I have a really bad habit of doing bought it on impulse. After I bought it I decided to look for reviews but cant find any anywhere. The main reason for buying is im off to Morzine in July and want to start doing some downhill in the uk. Anyone got one or ridden one to give some views because im currently overseas with work at minute and wont actually be able to see or ride it till end of next month.
Tall and short. Like an all mountain bike on steroids. Some people will like that, others will hate it, I would fall into the latter camp.

I have a 48cm froggy 518 and I'm 6ft 2" and I love it. It is perfect for UK downhill and if your fit enough it would pedal up aswell as coming down. Brilliant bikes and you will enjoy it!!
Also quite rare still so attracts attention when your out riding!
