In a couple of weeks I'm stopping up on the Low Wray campsite and I've got the chance of a day out by myself but no transport so looking to do something nearby.
Thinking of heading out up Randy Pike (fnarr fnarr) on to Iron Keld descent to Skelwith Bridge, anticlockwise loop round Loughrigg, across to Elterwater then on to Little Langdale, Hodge Close, Oxen Fell, back across Arnside Intake, up to High Cross, through the Forest to Low Parkamoor, Dad, Grandad and Doctor, over Breasty Haw (s****), back up to the Fox, Devils Gallop, along Cunsey Beck, up to Far Sawrey and over to Windermere then back along the lakeside.
I think it works and if I'm getting knackered there's options to cut out some climbs and distance at the back end without too much impact on a good ride but I'm open to any potential to improve it.
