Anyone done this? How much hike a bike is actually in it? Is it slogging up mountainsides or just steep rocky paths?

It's on my todo list but things keep getting in the way. Since it's an Alan Goldsmith route there'll be some hike-a-bike in there. Most likely candidates are Black Sail Pass and Scarth Gap (about 3mins into the video) but it's likely that most will be pushing up the top bit of Walna Scar among other bits.

Probably the hardest of the 200km ITT routes.

Sty head will be hike a bike too.

Up on to high st will be a push with maybe a dash of hike a bike.

Did a similar route in June.

The bit from Coniston to Grange is amazing. Defo Worth doing.

Doesn't do Sty Head - passes are Walna, Black Sail, Scarth Gap, and Honister, which is obviously rideable. The other main push/carry is High Street.
