Going to Lake Tahoe for a conference next month, so...

Any decent cycling - either road or MTB? Probably night riding as I'll be conferencing all day.
Anywhere to hire a bike?
Anyone to show me round / club rides?
Anything else I should try to do / see?

It might not work out as I may run out of time but worth checking I thought.

Mr Toads Wild Ride - just do it!

The only thing I would say is check the weather that time of year and don't feed the bears.

There's a run on the 4th of October on the Flume Trail, so the weather can't be that bad.
I've always wanted to ride in Tahoe - seen pics in mags for 26 years!

That Mr Toads Wild Ride looks really good (whereas the Flume looks potentially scenic, but smooth).
