Hope the title explains it. New cx shoes and found that even after tightening up the spd cleat screws a little, the cleat digs into the soft rubber sole of the shoe preventing the cleat from engaging the pedal. I think it causes problems with the treads being too tight to the pedal sides too.
I suspect the solution would be a thin shim but any other thoughts on this? Cleats and pedals are brand new xt.
