I’m possibly going to be in the North Lakes around Keswick this weekend.
Is anything likely to be rideable with the snow they’ve been having up there this week!
I was thinking about something’s no like the Back o’ Skiddaw route or if that’s not going to be doable then possibly just stick with Whinlatter.

Even Whinlatter can turn into a slog in the snow.

I don't know what to suggest other than watch the weather.

There isn’t really any snow in Keswick itself. Slushy as soon as you gain any height but stuff like the bash should still be fun.

Forecast for Saturday looks pretty good. You’ll find something good to ride.

Stay low, do the bash, it's way better than back o skidder anyway.

Just so you know, the road up to whinlatter from Keswick side is currently closed, badgers undermining the road. Borrowdale bash probably best bet for weatherproof riding.

Thanks for that guys.
I'd seen something about the road closure but didn't realise it was the Keswick side.

I'll take a look at the Borrowdale Bash.

Barrowdale Bash, it's all mid valley so shouldn't be too bad, plus it's mostly track too, should be good even with a dusting.
