You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Guys looking to meet a mate half way for a decent ride with over night stop and decided on the lakes.
Can anyone recomend a good days riding with an overnight stop? Bothy/hostel etc. then loop back to start probably Feb depending on weather.
Cheers
The whole area's your oyster, there are tons of YHA's which make a lots of routes possible. I love the north lakes so would always suggest something out of Keswick. How about Keswick to Buttermere via some of the bash and the 4 passes route. Stay in Buttermere and then back via either newlands and whinlatter or the rest of the bash/catbells. Or you could do Keswick to Pooley bridge via some of Helvellyn and back via Ullswater singletrack. Just go to work with an OS map.
If you need to expand on some of what I suggested just say.
I'm sure someone else will be along in a mo. 🙂
Loads of good stuff round south lakes , what sort of mileage/terrain you thinking about?
Do this out of Staveley Up GarburnPass Il Bell Yoke Thornthwaite Cragg High St down to Glennridding Stay at a YHA next morning Keppel Cove to Helvellyn down Dolly Wagon Grisedale Tarn up to Fairfield Horseshoe then Alcock tarn Coffin Trail Jenkins Cragg Dubbs 3 rivers back to Staveley.

Obviously I might have strayed on to a FP on a few occasions but its a cracking ride with hike a bike.
I started at the bottom of Garburn Pass so add a few more miles on for starting at Staveley
