Heading up that way tomorrow for new year and fancied calling in to laggan on way to aviemore.

It will have been very snowy yesterday, it's thawing today and no snow around Inverness now but higher up will still be. You should be able to call it as you drive up the a9 by how much snow is at Road level before you turn off. It was very windy so would have been some deep drifts

It's now around 5C and there's a lovely mix of slush and ice.
I'd expect Laggan to be similar.
