I love 'Gore' stuff, however am willing to see if there are other jackets worth trying on.
Must be light and will be used all year round.
My Gore jacket is now 11 years old and has served me well, its time for a new one.

Both I and mrscrackfox have Pace 3x3 jackets. Mens and womens specific event they are very good and fit well. eVent so they breathe pretty good too.

I really like my Gore Packlite (I think its the Alp-x).
Think mine is the Alp-x, too but I can't find a label on it anywhere!!!
It's good, though.

mrsflash - how are you and the mini flash? I have the Alp x water proof shorts and they are fantastic, so I think I'll end up with Gore again.
