I work for EF (not in the cycling team part, but the education bit). One of the people that works in the cycling team shared this earlier today - Lachlan is an inspiration!

Hello everyone. Some of you may have seen this morning, but Lachlan is at it again. He called us up a week ago, and said he wanted to do something to raise money for Ukrainian refugees, and to mobilize the cycling community. He came up with the idea to ride from Munich to the Ukraine border in one push, about 1000 KM. We've started a fundraiser, and set up a page to track his progress. So far we're halfway to the goal and he hasn't even started riding.

Quick Lachlan Morton update for those following...
He's now cycled 670km since setting off from Munich on Friday night. He's only 300km from the Ukraine border. And he's raised $145k!!! Go Lachy 🇺🇦

Definitely a bit of both!
Sunday evening update...
38 hours since departing Munich on Friday night.
964km cycled. 100km to go to Ukraine.
$182k raised.

Amazing effort!

Monday update - he finished the 1064km in the early hours of the morning.
Total time 42 hours.
Money raised so far $204k, all going to GlobalGiving's Ukraine Crisis 
Relief Fund.

Inspiring stuff!
