We're planning a few days camping in La Thuile in August.
Tried booking a spot with with both campsites and had no reply, we'd prefer to stay at http://campingrutor.altervista.org
Is it the sort of place where you can just rock up on the day?

We stayed at Rutor for the EWS in 2016. They were a bit slow on answering emails and ended up booking over the phone.
We have booked again for this year's EWS. Again sent many email with no response and the phone just rings. Finally got through last week and have had an email response. They don't start for the summer season until the biggining of June and as such don't seem to bother in the closed season.
There is another camper van site but it didn't have any facilities.
Quite a lot of the competitors had just turned up as they had no responce and they managed to fit most people in.
