We are holidaying in the Vosges region this summer, I'll have the kids with me (11 and 10 yrs old) who are decent but not super confident cyclists.  Any experiences?  Not much online I can find about it.

Visited the Bikepark in La Bresse a couple of years ago.  It's a compact, but really good fun days worth of riding.

1 Chairlift up, about 8 or 9 trails back down IIRC.  It took a couple of runs to feel relatively comfortable as it got quite full on in places!

I rode La Bresse at the end of August 2 years ago. It was good fun and worth doing if in the area but I wouldnt go out my way to ride there if you have a long drive, although i suspect there is better off piste in the area. There were also a lot of braking bumps - probably due to end of season - which made it hard work in places. and yes it get proper DH on some of the runs which was too much for me.
