I'm the happy owner of a Transition Klunker, and whilst stock it was great I've been making some additions and changes to make it even more fun 😉

There must be some more Klunker owners on here - is yours as it came or have you made some mods?

Here's some pics of mine from today. I've added some On-One steel forks and a front disc brake, as I had some proper sketchy moments (i.e. I nearly killed myself) on some steep singletrack. As the only wheel I had spare was 27.5, it's currently a 67.5er(?) I've also put on a Hope 38t front chainring, as the original gearing was properly steep.
Brapppp!

More than one brake is cheating.

Checked BMX pad set. Bottle cap bar end plugs. 80s style grips.

Mullet and a moustache?

I kind of felt I was, but the original klunkers were all about adaption and development, so as I didn't want to kill myself, I felt it justified!

They pop up on ebay every so often - I got mine for the princely sum of £165! Looked like it had been ridden maybe once, the chain was even clean!
