Anyone had this? And how did you fix it?
My KS LEV SI dropper isn't staying down. It stays up and isn't moving when I sit on it; drops fine; but won't stay down.
When its down is slowly creeps back up. I have disconnected the cable as I assumed it was the cable tension but it still does it.
Might be worth trying to stop pressing the handlebar trigger when it's down, if you let go it stays in that position usually?
Could be crap in the mechanism on the bottom of the post. Worth taking it out and giving it a good clean/lube
Ther used to be an issue with certain Lev's where the internal operating rod was just a fraction too long, could it be the problem with yours? The fix was simple, remove the base (think the lever arm and spring had to be taken off), drop out the rod, and file a smidge off the flat end.
Will try cleaning the mechanism tomorrow and report back. It hasn't been used for a while so hopefully just sticking
