My seatpost was not working too well, so did the usual of a basic strip, clean and re-grease, but after putting it all back together the seatpost will not stay in the extended position, not sure what i've done wrong here as it wasn't that complicated and not many parts to put back together!
Anyone had this, or understand where i've gone wrong?
Mine is doing the same. The head is also starting the wobble. I’m thinking it’s time for a different one.
If i were a betting man i'd say i've done something with the piston, not sure how, but when i put the rod and cap back in it doesn't move up or down, just sticks, even when operating it doesn't seem to apply any pressure to open the piston.
Guessing that means a stuck or damaged piston, which would equate to a lot of money, new post is maybe the way ahead, could maybe wait and find a like for like (KS Lev Integra 30.9 125 by 390) just in case anyone has one going spare ;o)
