Firstly shout out to Flotec for supplying spares for my Mrs' Lev without the price gouging that you see on eBay.

Now what they wouldn't do (and apparently noone will do, they have to be 'sized' to fit the post as part of a service) is supply a replacement bush (normally fitted inside a retaining collar, see

item A31113)

Surely it's a standard DU bush, I spec them along with the machined housing and shafts at work fairly often. It's not rocket surgery. I popped the bush and retaining collar out yesterday (damaging the bush further of course) to measure it up. Seems it a no-standard length- (25 mm ID bush has a 28 mm OD and a minimum standard length of 15 mm - I stopped short of pushing the bush out fo the collar so made a rough measurement of 7.5 of 8 mm - the bush was slightly shorter than the collar..

So I guess they cut a standard 15 mm bush in half to get the 7 ish mm length I measured?

Has anyone else managed to source a bush or can recommend a cheap ish supplier for the nearest standard size?

We have the bushings in stock along with all the other spares... but what they say is correct - there are small variances in size of each bush, and each post, and you need to try a couple to see what fits properly. We keep ~10 in stock so we can fit one when we do a service but they're not really practical to sell online.

Silly, I know - but it's the way it is.

If you want to chance your arm, happy to sell you one, but it may or may not work. Alternatively could send you a few so you can find one that fits and send the rest back, perhaps.

He'll tell you the same though at least that's how I found out about the same issue.

Yep. Small variance in size. I bought 4 from south coast, 2 fitted, one was over tight, the other sloppy.
