Was looking to upgrade as i feel the bike could do with small weight drop at the wheels as my stage evo feels like a lump.
The kore realms on there have a noticeably poor engagement but I can live with that. I can’t find any details about weight etc online.
Been looking at hunt trail wides but I’m not sure it will make a difference.
Every new bike I’ve had I do a wheel upgrade and really appreciate acceleration gains for climbing rough stuff but not sure how much of an upgrade £350 is over what I’ve got.
I had the standard Kore Realm on my Crush (27.5) and swapped to Hunt Trail Wide.
The Kore weighed in about 2.3kg,the Hunts ~1.8kg.
The weight loss was noticeable but for me it would have been worth it for the engagement alone. The Hunts don't even have a particularly PoE but they feel instant compared the the Kores.
Ok, I'm on a HT where I think stuff like that I'd more noticeable and 27.5 rather than 29 so we're not talking apples with apples but I don't imagine you'll be disappointed with the Hunts for the money.
