I've given up with my contact lenses as they're getting to be more trouble than they're worth these days and am now looking for a pair of prescription sports glasses that I can use for running & cycling.
having checked out most of the usual suspects (RX Sports, reglazing sunnies with Reglaze Direct, etc) I've come across Kontor Eyewear, who appear to be extremely good value.
They don't have a huge range of styles but do have something that I like the look of, and will do a full set of replaceable outer lenses including photochromic for an extra 70 quid, making the pair I'm interest in £159 with all the bells & whistles.
Has anyone used Kontor or have any tales to tell, good or bad? I'm very tempted at the moment would liek to hear some real world experiences first, if possible.
Cheers
I'm guessing that's a big fat 'no' then? 😉
For anyone who has gone down the prescription cycling glasses route, does this sound good value or too good to be true?
Cheers
I actually did have a pair of RX insert type jobs branded as 'Kontor' a few years ago, they were OKay fit wise, but the frames and outer lenses were a bit brittle and both developed cracks within 18 months, biggest problem (as I've found with most RX insert systems) was fogging though...
Thanks for that, it's very helpful and certainly something to consider. I'd not thought about the Rx lenses fogging TBH.
