I was trying to find a Marin Team but have failed so looked to see what else is about that might fit the bill for me. The geo on the current Kona Kahuna DL doesn't look to far off and looks like it has a good spec for the money. Has anyone out there got one or ridden one? I can't find any reviews and was wondering what you think of them. I'm after a bike that feels lively to ride, closer to an XC bike than trail bike, I'll mostly be using it for longer XC rides (not races) on not too technical terrain.
Pretty sure the Kahuna is on the MBR hardtail of the year test (YouTube!) and does quite well.
Thanks for the tip off, I found the review but unfortunately it was the Mahuna not the Kahuna DL.
Mahuna & Kahuna appear to have the same geo & probably aane frame so review would be useful still
