Hi,
My son has a Kona Five-0, requiring a longer seatpost, anyone happen to know what diameter they are/were? (not sure on the year for the frame)
just incase this post attracts a propper 5-0 expert, any idea what the front hub was (20mm thru axle) as either the bearings are shot or there is a spacer missing.
I have and continue to google, but its proving more difficult than i expected
I had one for a while and as far as I can remember it was 30.9mm seatpost, not sure if it still have the post to check. Front hub i cant help on as it would obviously vary by model. The size is normally printed on the seatpost but not always.
nice one akira
he has measured it as 29mm!
I'd probably get a second opinion as it was a while ago and Ive been on lock down and home schooling for a while so my brain is like mush.
Just measured mine and it does seem to be 29mm, too many frames and too many sizes. Frame is FUBARed but still in loft. No many options then, CRC only has 410mm Thomson Elite in silver
finally got the calipers on the post, 30.0mm
have opted for a 27.2 post and a shim as there is naff all around at 30mm over 350mm long.
thanks all for the input tho, much appreciated
Old konas all used to be 30.0
I may have one in the garage if u want
if its long enough... v. interested
Soobalias sorry can't find it if I still have it
not to worry - shim and post will be here this week
bump for the weekenders:

were there ever any spacers on Marzocchi 55s? hub spacers rather than travel spacers.
