I have the above which was an £1800 bike.I built myself an on one 456 to ride as my dont give a f##k about bike in winter ect.I liked the 456 so much mainly because i am cheap and there was no expencive kit on it i decided to sell the kona which has had about 6 months use.No one wanted it and i sold the on one instead for money back.I dont do much cycling now as i am a lazy fu**er and still have the Kona locked away indoors under the stairs.I like the bike, thought it was a good bike payed plenty for it but no one wanted it.Are they shite??.

😆 not completely sh!#e, just not as fu##$$% nice as some other bikes out there, somebody will buy it if the price is right, what were you asking?

I have the same bike, and love it. I've ridden with guys who own bikes costing twice as much, and half as much. All bikes managed perfectly. I suppose it comes down to how much you like the Dawg. Some people can be extremely snobbish about which bike other people ride, and sometimes base their opinions on other peoples perceptions of what a bike is like to ride without even swingig a leg over it. Me? I just tried loads in the price range and preferred the Dawg.

Some say Kona four bar bikes are ugly, but there are other bikes out there (with similar styling) that people favour because of the brand.

I like my Dawg a lot.It rides well and crashes through stuff that my 04 giant trance would have had me over the bars as soon as touching it.The reason i was asking the question was for an £1800 bike with around 6 months use and to me the best and most expencive i would and could ever afford to buy(my dream bike)would not sell for £850.
I do love the bike but as i said i am cheap so would rather be going out on an on one 456 (a totaly exellent bike for the £ imo)than wearing out my dream bike.

850 seems reasonable, i'd say ride your dream bike and stop worrying.

Pauls cycles are selling £1750 dawgs off at about a grand so your second hand one has to be worth less.

My brother in law used to ride his old 04 Kona dawg (4") down owt, swapped it for a fancy Ellsworth Moment and hated it!

Life in the old Dawg yet...

I've got a 2004 Dawg and it's great. The sizing/geometry feels spot on for me and despite being built like a tank, it rides quicker than other more expensive bikes I've tried.
