So Kona finally (since what? They mid nighties or so) make a bike I'd like to have a go on, and would probs be something that I'd buy, the new Hei Hei looks about what I'm after, but what's the situation with Kona bikes in the UK? Are they directs sale? the official UK Kona website looks like it's had a fire sale (which I think it pretty much did), and no one on-line appears to sell anything post 2022 or thereabouts. Are they going to be available? Not at all available? Does anyone have a scooby?

I know, right? Shame it appears to be quite difficult to buy one in the UK.

I’ve had spares from Mount Green Cycles who I thought were now the official Kona UK importer? www.mountgreencycles.com

If it's that hard to buy one, the prospect of dealing with any sort of after sales support should make you run a mile IMHO.

I find myself strangely drawn to Konas. Got as far trying to find a price but the website just said they don't ship to the UK. Looked up Bikes and Buddies, but hadn't realised they'd gone.

Have you read/watched the Pinkbike first ride? Good that the flexing stays have been dumped, but it's real heavy for the type of bike. Almost 5lbs heavier than my aluminum Hei Hei, and only 1.5lbs lighter than my Process X was. High BB and slack seat tube as well. Although the guy had just ridden and compared it to the new Spearfish, which must be one of the steepest seat tube xc bikes ever.

I love my smoke 29.

maybe Kona should find an outlet like decathlon to sell their frames only. (They’re always distinctive and eye catching)…just to rival Halfords selling Joe Murray’s Voodoo stuff.

the usp of course, being the legacy of heritage twisting back to the yardankitties.

Mount Green Cycles are the UK Distributor. There are loads of UK stores selling Kona bikes, all of which are supplied by the UK distributor. Drop Mount Green Cycles an email if you're struggling to find a particular bike in stock
