I'm starting to tinker with Komoot to plan some rides now I'm easing myself back into cycling.
I've noticed a couple of areas of the map local to me that are showing red boundaries inside of which is red hatching; there's mapping beneath. I can't see an explanation on the [url= https://support.komoot.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024441552-Legend-of-komoot-maps ]Komoot key[/url] so wondered if anyone could enlighten me.

This one doesn't as far as I can see, but it is close to a naval air station so could be their land.
