I'm certain my MY22ish SID selects have slightly loose bushing.. certainly feels like it doing the rock test.
Anything to worry about? I know this model year did have reported issues.. trouble is the bike came from BikeInn, so warranty may be a pickle (but not impossible)..
should i persue this?

If the rock test requires the front brake to be held on are you sure it's not the pads moving in the caliper.
yeah...reattels for and aft, and with wheel turned 90 degrees..

Warranty should be fine. Go to your nearest SRAM dealer and bribe them (£10-20 should do it) to warranty it for you. You will need a copy of the receipt.
I’d say have a go at warranty too.
im on same bike and fork and year AFAIK with no hint of a similar issue - just to rule out any sense of “they’re all like that”.
you could even try a local specialized dealer.
I had the same thing with a set of SID Ultimate forks.
I took them to a local shop and the guys there returned them to SRAM who replaced the lowers.
cheers all - will try that route...

They are just like that. Mine started doing it after a couple of moths. Rideable but not ideal. Got new lowers for them after 2 years, fitted last November, was perfect for a while but just noticed it happening again on last night's ride.
The latest versions have completely redesigned lowers / bushing overlap, so it's a known issue.
