I appear to have legs designed for Track Sprinters. I've tried some 661 knee pads and even in the XL size they're too small. Does anyone have any recommendations for knee pads that are for thighs wider than 52cm?

I’ve got some of the rapha trail pads. They are very good so far.

size chart seems pretty accurate, I have XL calves and M thighs. Went for the M and lower legs haven’t fallen off yet from lack of blood circulation. M is 52thigh, XL is 61

I haven't measured my thighs, but I often have to get XL knee pads - despite being a medium in most clothes.

One brand I found to be on the larger side was Dakine. The Slayer kneepad is cheap here and might be worth a go in XL?

See if they offer a sizing chart obvs.

I’ve got a pair of the Race Face pads that have Velcro to remove them without taking your shoes off (can’t remember the name or if they even make them anymore) and they fit ok. Also have some RF padded knee sleeves which fit my huge quads/calves.

Have always struggled since 661 stopped the Kyle Straits (best pads ever)

Not IXS pads. I'm a small light guy and wear XL.

Snap.  Exactly the same here.

Pity the day the hard insert in my Kyle Strait pads cracked into a hundred small pieces.

RaceFace flank knee/shins here.
My calfs are really quite silly big and the XL (largest) ‘just’ fit ok.

Dakine Slayer Knee Sleeve

They don't match up to the sizing chart as I couldn't even get an XL over my knee. As another who had some Kyle Strait pads I've now got some XL/XXL TLD stage pads which are snug but comfy.
