Been using 661 Kyle Straits for years but they no longer make them. My newest pair are looking pretty battered so I need new ones.
What's the nearest equivalent in the current 661 pad range?

I believe it's called the Rage? FWIW there are better pads out there. There was a 2 page thread on knee pads a few weeks back. My recomendation is the Fox Launch.

As above ^ The Rage pads replaced the Kyle Straits, i read poor reviews regarding the Rage pads so i replaced my Kyle Straits with the Fox Launch and i have been more than happy with them.

I bought some Dainese Trail Skins to try in the summer but they were uncomfortable and the fit was weird, so I returned them.
Might give the Launches a try then.

I've got some 661 Rage Hard kneepads which I use for uplift days which I'm very happy with. Wouldn't want to use them for normal pedalling though, too bulky. I use some Troy Lee ones for trail riding.
