Can anyone recommend a plastic cage that fits a Klean Kanteen bottle.  I think they are slight larger diameter than a standard drinks bottle as they were a really tight fit in my metal cages and have now caused them to snap.  Also the metal on metal chattered over the bumpy stuff so would prefer plastic.

This looks perfect but not currently active.

I do not want to spend very much certainly not the £25+ I have googled!

thank you

Could get a stainless one and bend it to fit. Use some sugru on the cage to stop it rattling.

My only other thought was the fidlock boa thing. But that is very pricey!!

I’ve got one of the Klean Kanteen plastic bottle cages. I was always waiting for it to snap, it doesn’t feel as springy as normal bottle cages. It also only fits the 800ml bottle.

I’ve since changed all of mine to King Cage Iris cages. Works fine with Klean Kanteen bottles. No rattles.

Topeka do a Modula and Modula cage II. I've got one of the Modula ones and it's fine holding bottles on the horizontal tube of my folder although not tried it with larger bottles. Cheapish at about £5 online.

PS I like the irony of a no plastic water bottle and then looking for a plastic bottle cage 😉

What size Klean Kanteen are you using? I have the one that’s a bit more than a litre and use it with an Arundel Looney Bin cage. The cage is adjustable so can take all sorts of different bottles and works well for me.

I went through a lot of cages trying to find something that will hold a Sigg 1 Litre bottle well. Ended up with a Blackburn Outpost. You secure the bottle with straps so there's no rattling and it's definitely not breaking easily. It takes a bit longer to access, but I don't mind that.

Couple I've used for similar - Topeak Modula java and Monkii cage. I prefer the Topeak one.

thanks everyone.  Got the 880l and 500l bottles, prefer metal bottles as they clean and taste better.

The Topeak one looks like perfect fit thanks

Spend the money and get a King Cage or just get a metal one and bend it to fit.
