On either a Mtb loop around Pen y Gent or road ride from Burnley into the dales I often try to pass through Halton Gill for a refuel /bid on fill and empty bladder at Kitty’s honesty box cafe.
I’ve not bothered venturing through the since the start of lockdown but itching to do a regular route around those parts. does anybody know if Kitty’s is open, I expect it isn’t but with many things returning to normal, fingers crossed.

With regret, we will no longer be able to run Katies Cuppas. We truly appreciate all the support we have received over the years but the time has come to shut up shop! A massive thank you to my mum Annette who continued it when i was unable too. We hope you understand, thank you!
I would very much doubt anyone would be opening up toilet facilities yet, so I wouldn't rely on it.

what a bloody shame and nothing to do with the Covid situation. no more lovely carrot cake washed down with a coffee. Road route will now need a stop at the Spar in settle for resupplies.
I don't mean any criticism by this, as you are clearly following the current guidance, but is there any way you could adapt your setup to carry enough food and water on your bike to match the length of your ride, rather than travelling from an area with a significantly higher Covid rate into a small rural town with high numbers of elderly residents and mixing with the locals by using its shops and facilities?
I appreciate this may make riding more awkward and route-planning a touch harder.
I was parked in the car park in Settle yesterday and noticed the great fish&chip shop is now open, I was very tempted to ditch the packed lunch.
